Biotech start-ups or project teams can apply until September 10, 2021
Zu Beginn der Veranstaltung wird Dr. Peter Hanns Zobel die Begrüßungsrede halten und einen Einblick in das Gründerzentrum geben. Zudem stellt Prof. Dr. Stefan Jaroch, Head External Innovation Technologies, R&D Bayer AG, die Kooperationsmöglichkeiten mit dem Pharmaunternehmen vor. Auch Dr. Caroline Fichtner und Dr. Martin Pfister, Prinzipals des High-Tech Gründerfonds, werden ihr Unternehmen präsentieren und den Start-ups aufgrund ihrer langjährigen Tätigkeit in der Venture Capital-Branche qualifiziertes Feedback geben. In zwei Präsentationsrunden werden die zehn bis zwölf Projektteams Ihre Präsentationen vorstellen. Die Teilnahme an dem Life Science Pitch Day ist kostenlos.
Über Innovations- und Gründerzentrum für Biotechnologie (IZB) in Martinsried bei München
Die Fördergesellschaft IZB mbH, im Jahre 1995 gegründet, ist die Betreibergesellschaft der Innovations- und Gründerzentren für Biotechnologie in Planegg-Martinsried und Freising-Weihenstephan und hat sich zu einem führenden Biotechnologiezentrum entwickelt. Auf 26.000 m2 sind derzeit über 50 Biotechunternehmen mit über 700 Mitarbeitern angesiedelt. Auch die neuen Infrastrukturmaßnahmen wie der Faculty Club G2B (Gateway to Biotech), die IZB Residence CAMPUS AT HOME, die Chemieschule Elhardt, die zwei Kindergärten Bio Kids und Bio Kids2 sowie die beiden Restaurants SEVEN AND MORE und Café Freshmaker sind Standortfaktoren, die von den Unternehmensgründern sehr geschätzt werden. At the beginning of the event, Dr. Peter Hanns Zobel will give the welcome speech and provide an insight into the incubator. In addition, Prof. Dr. Stefan Jaroch, Head External Innovation Technologies, R&D Bayer AG, will present the cooperation opportunities with the pharmaceutical company. Dr. Caroline Fichtner and Dr. Martin Pfister, principals of High-Tech Gründerfonds, will also present their company and provide the start-ups with qualified feedback based on their many years of experience in the venture capital industry. In two presentation rounds, the ten to twelve project teams will present their research. Participation in the Life Science Pitch Day is free of charge.
